Understanding Premenstrual Discomfort

As their period approaches, many women experience physical or emotional discomfort.

These sensations are largely due to natural variations in hormones throughout the menstrual cycle.

After ovulation, for example, progesterone levels naturally decline. This decline can affect the body in several ways, including by affecting the production of serotonin, a "feel-good hormone" that helps regulate mood.

These hormonal variations can also impact other systems in the body.

For example, they can alter the needs for certain essential nutrients, such as magnesium and calcium, which play a key role in the functioning of muscles and the nervous system.

When these needs are not met, it can contribute to feelings of discomfort or fatigue.

OCYCLE is designed to support women during this delicate period of their cycle. Its formula combines carefully selected vitamins, minerals, and plants to:

  • Support hormonal balance: Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of female hormones, thus helping to better cope with these natural variations.
  • Promote emotional well-being: Vitamins B6 and B3 contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system and psychological functions, thus reducing feelings of irritability or emotional fatigue.
  • Provide physical support: Essential nutrients like zinc help protect cells from oxidative stress, while vitamin B6 helps reduce fatigue.

In addition to these benefits recognized at European level, OCYCLE incorporates plants such as valerian and yarrow, traditionally used to promote relaxation and soothe discomfort associated with the menstrual cycle.
